YouTube Vanced was a widely used modded version of YouTube that provided users with premium-like features like ad-free videos, background playback, and an AMOLED dark mode. Sadly, because of legal pressure, the project was shut down, and official downloads are no longer available. Although some websites promise to provide YouTube Vanced APKs, many of them are not safe and can contain malware. A superior option is ReVanced, an open-source initiative that picks up where Vanced left off. To install ReVanced, download the ReVanced Manager from its official GitHub repository first, then use it to patch a compatible YouTube APK before installing it on your device. If you require Google account login capability, you'll also need to install Vanced MicroG. Always use official sources to prevent security threats and provide a secure installation.
